SB410 Repealing Tax Exemption for Data Centers (Passed 32 to 21 on 3/6/2026). Would repeal Georgia's sales-and-use-tax exemption for data-center equipment.

SB572 Self-defense (Passed 30 to 23 on 3/6/2026). Would expand Georgia's self-defense laws by adding another justification for using force in defense of oneself or others, and broadens civil-liability immunity.

SB499 Repealing Prohibition on Silencers (Passed 30 to 20 on 3/6/2026). Would repeal Georgia's state-level prohibition on possessing firearm suppressors, also called silencers.

SB476 Income-tax Reduction (Passed 32 to 18 on 2/12/2026). Would reduce Georgia's personal income tax by exempting the first $50,000 of income for single filers and the first $100,000 for married couples filing jointly.

SB163 Preemption of Local Gun Control (passed 33 to 23 on 3/6/2025). Would increase the civil penalty from $100 to $50,000 for unauthorized acts related to the local regulation of weapons.

SB29 DNA Collection Without Due Process (passed 44 to 11 on 3/3/2025). Requires the collection of a DNA sample from any person who is “arrested” for, not just charged with or convicted of, a “serious violent felony.”

SR23 Article V Convention: Term Limits (adopted 34 to 18 on 2/20/2025). Would apply to Congress to “call a convention” under Article V of the U.S. Constitution for the purpose of proposing an amendment to set term limits on members of Congress.

SB233 Georgia Promise Scholarship Act (Passed 33 to 23 on 3/6/2023). Would have created a school-voucher program, in which the government gives parents “public funds” (i.e., government money) to get their children out of government-run public or charter schools and instead place them in private school or to homeschool them.

SB67 Second Amendment Preservation Act (Passed 31 to 21 on 2/21/2023). Would have nullified a wide range of past, present, and future unconstitutional firearm restrictions contained in “federal acts, laws, executive orders, administrative orders, court orders, rules, and regulations.”

SB1 Proof of Vaccine (Passed 31 to 21 on 2/7/2023). Removes the automatic repealer on the prohibition on state and local governments from requiring proof of COVID vaccination for government services.
