HR178 United Nations Day (adopted 96 to 19 on 5/31/2025).  Declares October 24, 2025, as United Nations Day in the State of Illinois.

HB2568 Homosexual Parentage (passed 77 to 40 on 5/31/2025). Would recognize parent-child relationships “without regard to the marital status, age, gender, gender identity or sexual orientation of the child's parents, or the circumstances of the child's birth.”

HB1373 National Firearms Tracing (passed 43 to 11 on 5/31/2025). Directs Illinois law enforcement to use the National Tracing Center’s (NTC) eTrace platform.

SB1976 Enforcing Repealed OSHA Rules (passed 80 to 32 on 5/30/2025). Provides that the Illinois Department of Labor may incorporate federal Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) regulations as they existed prior to being “repealed, revoked, amended, or newly interpreted.”

HB3489 Taxpayer-funded Abortion (passed 41 to 16 on 5/22/2025). Allows pharmacists to prescribe Medicaid-covered “emergency contraception” to patients.

SB1560 Universal "Mental Health" Screening in Schools (passed 52 to 0 on 4/11/2025). Requires school districts to offer “mental health screenings” to all students annually, beginning in 3^rd grade.

HB3097 Mandatory Federal Student-aid Applications (passed 84 to 24 on 4/10/2025). Requires school districts to assist “each high school student” with “education about and the completion of” a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or, “if applicable, an application for State financial aid.”
