LB398 Federal Law Alignment (Passed 45 to 4 on 5/28/2025). Updates Nebraska’s motor-vehicle laws to align with federal standards, revises vehicle fees, adds Arbor Day license plates, and addresses railroad property acquisitions. 

LB319 SNAP Expansion (Passed 32 to 17 on 5/14/2025). Would end the lifetime ban on SNAP benefits for people with certain drug felony convictions.

LB36 Environmental Protection (Passed 43 to 6 on 5/14/2025). This bill is a broad environmental law that focuses on promoting "sustainability."

LB390 School Transparency and Parental Rights (Passed 34 to 14 on 4/10/2025). Mandates that each public-school district in Nebraska adopt a policy by the start of the 2026-27 school year to ensure parents, guardians, and educational decisionmakers have access to school-library materials.

LB168 340B Protection (Passed 42 to 5 on 4/3/2025). Prohibits pharmaceutical manufacturers and their affiliates from denying or restricting the acquisition of 340B drugs by contract pharmacies authorized by 340B entities, such as certain hospitals and clinics.

LB266 Rent-control Ban (Passed 37 to 10 on 4/3/2025). Prohibits cities, villages, and counties from enacting any local ordinance that effectively imposes rent control on privately owned residential property.

LB1402 Education Scholarships (Passed 32 to 15 on 4/18/2024). Appropriates $25 million to provide education scholarships for Nebraska students entering school at qualified schools, or transferring from public to private schools.

LB829A Government Expansion (Passed 40 to 5 on 4/11/2024). Appropriates money from the General Fund to the University of Nebraska's Board of Regents for mandating insurance coverage for certain cancer screenings and treatments.

LB856 Subsidized Childcare (Passed 38 to 7 on 4/11/2024). Updates eligibility for the federal Child Care Subsidy, raising the income limit to 185% of the federal poverty level until 2026.

LB164 Grant Expansion (Passed 37 to 6 on 4/11/2024). Expands the Municipal Inland Port Authority Act and creates a government grant through the Inland Port Authority Fund.
