SB158 Illegal Migrant ID Prohibition (Passed 83 to 13 on 5/7/2025). Stipulates that driver’s licenses issued to foreign nationals (i.e., non‑U.S. citizens) may not be used as photo identification for voting purposes. 

HB273 Hunger-free Campuses (Passed 96 to 2 on 4/22/2025). Directs the Alabama Commission on Higher Education to create a designation for qualified public two‑ and four‑year institutions as “hunger‑free campuses.” 

SB142 ERIC Ban (Passed 25 to 5 on 4/17/2025). Removes the Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC) as an approved database for identifying voters whose residential addresses may have changed. 

HB244 Don't Say Gay (Passed 74 to 15 on 4/17/2025). Expands the state’s “Don’t Say Gay” restrictions to cover pre‑K through 12th grade. 

HB528 Consumer Protection (Passed 96 to 1 on 4/9/2025). Expands consumer-protection laws during declared states of emergency. 

SB130 Real Money (Passed 102 to 0 on 4/1/2025). Authorizes refined gold and silver bullion, specie, or coins that are stamped with their weight and purity to be recognized as legal tender in Alabama.

SB238 Speed-enforcement Cameras (Passed 30 to 0 on 4/1/2025). Allows the Town of Kinston in Coffee County to use automated speed‑camera systems to issue civil citations. 

SB116 Machine-gun Conversion Ban (Passed 24 to 2 on 3/18/2025). Creates a felony crime under state law for possessing, obtaining, receiving, selling, or using parts designed or intended to convert a pistol into a machine gun, commonly known as “Glock switches.”
