HB664 Automated Speed Enforcement (Passed 29 to 7 on 3/28/2025). Establishes a pilot program for automated speed enforcement in highway work zones by issuing civil citations to drivers exceeding the speed limit by more than 10 miles per hour when workers are present.

HB2 Real Money (Passed 30 to 6 on 3/14/2025). Prohibits the state from charging sales or use tax on gold, silver, and platinum bullion.

SB75 Concealed-carry Age Reduction (Passed 26 to 11 on 3/11/2025). Lowers the legal age for carrying a concealed weapon from 21 to 18.

SB151 No Tax Dollars on Illegal Migrants (Passed 29 to 4 on 2/28/2025). Prohibits the use of state tax dollars to pay illegal aliens for any goods or services provided to government entities

SB14 Government Mandate (Passed 33 to 4 on 2/13/2025). Prohibits pharmaceutical manufacturers from discriminating against 340B-covered entities.

HB1 Income-tax Cut (Passed 90 to 7 on 2/4/2025). Cuts the state’s individual income-tax rate from 4% to 3.5%, starting with the 2026 tax year.

SB295 Prohibiting COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates (passed 25 to 11 on 3/26/2024). Prohibits a requirement for any individual to receive a COVID-19 vaccine for the purposes of student enrollment, employment, or medical treatment.

HB2 Universal Education Funding Amendment (passed 27 to 8 on 3/15/2024). Proposes to amend the Kentucky Constitution to authorize the financial support of students outside the public school system.

HB357 Second Amendment Financial Privacy (passed 32 to 6 on 3/13/2024). Forbids the use of a merchant category code that distinguishes a firearms retailer from other retailers and provides that no person or governmental entity may keep a list of privately owned firearms or firearms owners.

SB27 Federal Drug Pricing (passed 32 to 5 on 3/8/2024). Ensures that pharmaceutical manufactures comply with the federal 340B Drug Pricing Program.

HB18 Protecting the Rights of Tenants and Landlords (passed 25 to 11 on 2/20/2024). Preempts local governments from adopting or enforcing ordinances that bar owners of housing accommodations from refusing to lease or rent to persons who receive federal housing assistance.

SB80 Secure Voter ID Requirements (passed 27 to 7 on 1/30/2024). Removes college and university identification documents, along with credit and debit cards, from being used as “proof of identification” to confirm a voter’s eligibility.

HB5 Eliminating the ‘Bourbon Barrel Tax’ (passed 23 to 14 on 3/30/2023). Phases out state and local property taxes on the production of “distilled spirits stored or aging in barrels” beginning in 2026 and eliminating them by 2043.

SB150 Parental Rights in Education (passed 29 to 8 on 3/29/2023). Limits the authority of public schools in relation to parental rights, a student’s use of pronouns, medical or mental health services, and instructional content on human sexuality.

HB153 Prohibiting Enforcement of Federal Firearms Restrictions (passed 27 to 9 on 3/15/2023). Prohibits state and local agencies from enforcing any “federal law, executive order, rule, or regulation that is enacted, adopted, or becomes effective on or after January 1, 2021.”

SB115 Protecting Children from Lewd or Lascivious Conduct (passed 26 to 6 on 3/10/2023). Would make engaging in a “live sexually explicit performance” on public property or in a location where it could be viewed by a minor child a criminal offense.

SB4 Saving Kentucky’s Coal Power Plants (passed 25 to 8 on 3/2/2023). Prevents a utility company from shutting down a “fossil fuel-fired electric generating unit” without demonstrating that it would result in reliability and resilience of the electric grid as well as cost savings for customers.

SB64 “Electronic Money” in the Uniform Commercial Code (passed 34 to 0 on 2/28/2023). Would change Kentucky’s definition of “money” to include “electronic money,” as provided by the Uniform Commercial Code.  

SB83 Sports (Passed 29 to 8 on 4/13/2022). Prohibits male students from participating in athletic teams, activities, and sports designated as "girls".

HB459 Broadband Fund (Passed 36 to 0 on 3/30/2022). Appropriates Federal Funds from the Coronavirus Capital Projects Fund of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 in the amount of $127,000,000 and Federal Funds from the State Fiscal Recovery Fund of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 in the amount of $123,000,000 to the broadband deployment fund.

SB2 COVID-19 Policy (Passed 23 to 5 on 9/9/2021). Prohibits the governor from creating a statewide mask mandate and prohibits healthcare facilities from requiring vaccinations of employees.

HB574 Elections (Passed 33 to 3 on 3/16/2021).  Expands the state’s early voting, lets people fix their own ballot issues, and allows drop boxes for people to submit their absentee ballots.

SB8 Vaccine Mandates (Passed 33 to 1 on 3/16/2021). Provides exemptions from mandatory immunization for any child, emancipated minor, or adult who, personally or by a parent or guardian.

HB1 Reopening the Economy (Passed 29 to 8 on 2/2/2021). Allowed businesses to reopen and restored Kentuckian rights after COVID-19 lockdowns.
