HB5003 State Budget (passed 105 to 3 on 3/8/2024). Provides statutory authority to implement the $117.5 billion General Appropriations Act passed by the Legislature for FY 2024-25.

HB1645 Ending the Hoax of "Climate Change" (passed 81 to 29 on 3/7/2024). Removes references to “climate change” in state law, bans wind farms, protects natural gas appliances, and encourages the use of nuclear power technologies.

HB1451 Denying ID Cards Issued to Illegal Migrants (passed 81 to 32 on 3/4/2024). Prevents a county or municipality from accepting identification cards or documents issued by any person, entity, or organization to individuals not lawfully present in the United States.

HB1223 Reducing Minimum Age to Purchase Firearms (passed 76 to 35 on 3/1/2024). Would reduce the minimum age requirement to buy, sell, or transfer a firearm from 21 to 18.

HB601 Stopping Anti-Police "Civilian Review Boards" (passed 87 to 29 on 2/22/2024). Would have prohibited political subdivisions from adopting or attempting to enforce any ordinance involving “civilian oversight of a law enforcement agency” in relation to investigating complaints of officer misconduct.

HCR693 Article V Convention: Term Limits (passed 80 to 33 on 1/9/2024). Applies to Congress to “call a convention” under Article V of the U.S. Constitution for the “sole purpose” of proposing amendments that would set term limits on members of Congress.

SB214 Second Amendment Financial Privacy Act (passed 83 to 32 on 5/2/2023). Forbids financial institutions from using an identifying code for purchases from firearm or ammunition retailers.

HB1543 Reducing the Minimum Age to Purchase Firearms (passed 69 to 36 on 4/28/2023). Would reduce the minimum age requirement to buy, sell, or transfer a firearm from 21 to 18.

SB300 Heartbeat Protection Act (passed 70 to 40 on 4/14/2023). Prohibits abortion after six weeks of gestation, rather than 15 weeks, with exceptions for rape, incest, and human trafficking, subject to certain conditions.

SB450 Two-thirds Jury for Capital Sentences (passed 80 to 30 on 4/13/2023). Amends state law to require a recommendation of at least eight of 12 jurors, instead of a unanimous jury, for the imposition of the death penalty, if a jury has unanimously found a defendant guilty of a capital felony.

HB3 Combating ESG Activism (passed 80 to 31 on 3/24/2023). Bans the financial sector from considering “social credit scores” based on a person’s political or religious beliefs, and blocks state and local governments from using ESG factors in all investment, procurement, and contracting decisions.

HB1 Expanding Refundable Tax-Credit "Scholarships" (passed 83 to 27 on 3/17/2023). Expands eligibility for the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship and the Family Empowerment Scholarship for K-12 students, which includes homeschoolers by establishing the Personal Education Program.

HB5003 Budget (passed 105 to 3 on 3/14/2022). Provides the statutory authority necessary to implement and execute the $112.1 billion budget passed by the Florida Legislature for FY 2022-23.

SB1808 Immigration Enforcement (passed 77 to 42 on 3/9/2022). Revises the definition of the term “sanctuary policy” to include activities that would prohibit a law enforcement agency from providing certain immigration information to a state entity.

SB524 Election Security (passed 76 to 41 on 3/9/2022). Creates the Office of Election Crimes and Security within the Florida Department of State to conduct investigations of voting irregularities or violations of election law.

HB1557 Parental Rights in Education (passed 69 to 47 on 2/24/2022). Reinforces the fundamental right of parents to make decisions regarding the upbringing and education of their children.

HB5 Abortion Restrictions (passed 78 to 39 on 2/17/2022). Prohibits physicians from providing abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy, except for when an abortion is preformed to save a pregnant woman’s life or avert a serious risk of substantial and permanent “physical impairment of a major bodily function” of a pregnant woman.

HB1B Prohibiting COVID-19 Mandates (passed 78 to 39 on 11/17/2021). Prohibits governmental entities and educational institutions from imposing COVID-19 vaccination mandates for employees and requires private employers to exempt certain employees from vaccination.

SB404 Limiting Abortion Access for Minors (passed 75 to 43 on 7/1/2020). Prohibits physicians from performing abortions on minors without first obtaining the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

SB362 Taxpayer Financed Ad Campaign (Passed 114 to 2 on 4/9/2020). Extends funding for the Visit Florida Marketing Corporation, an expensive advertising project funded at extensive taxpayer expense.

HB001 Expanding Right-to-Work Protections (Passed 63 to 52 on 3/4/2020). Expands right-to-work protections by requiring unions to release a member upon that member's request, in addition to other worker protections.

SB810 Nanny State Nicotine Prohibitions (Passed 99 to 17 on 3/11/2020). SB810 prohibits individuals between the ages of 18-21 from purchasing tobacco or vaping products, while additionally banning the sale of most flavored nicotine products.

SB664 Expanding Use of E-Verify (Passed 73 to 45 on 3/11/2020). Mandates employers use the E-Verify system to affirm the legal status of new hires.

SB168 Ending Sanctuary City Policies (Passed 68 to 45 on 5/5/2019). Ends "sanctuary city" protections and directs Florida law enforcement to work with federal authorities in cases related to illegal migration.

SB7026 Firearm Restrictions (Failed to pass 49 to 67 on 3/6/2018). Exploits the tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School to push through a wide-ranging attack on 2nd Amendment rights. 

SB4 Cancelling Free Speech on Campus (Failed to pass 37 to 75 on 3/5/2018). Limits the ability of students to practice free speech on campus.

HB1429 Dismemberment Abortion (passed 72 to 42 on 3/1/2018). HB1429 bans dismemberment abortion, a ghoulish procedure involving cutting a fetus into pieces to remove it from the mother.

HB6001 Banning Red Light Cameras (Passed 83 to 18 on 1/12/18). Prohibits Florida counties and municipalities from creating red light camera programs. 

HB697 Immigration Enforcement (Passed 76 to 41 on 4/28/2017). Ends "sanctuary city" policies and requires state and local governments to work with federal authorities on immigration enforcement.

SB128 Strengthening Stand Your Ground (Passed 74 to 39 on 4/5/2017). Requires the state to provide "clear and convincing evidence" that a self-defense claim is invalid.
