HB1205 Restricting Initiative Petitions (passed 28 to 9 on 5/2/2025). Prevents non-U.S. citizens and non-Florida residents from registering as petition circulators, directs supervisors of elections to notify voters whose signatures are verified, and forbids the use of public funds to advocate for or against any issue.

SB1804 Death Penalty for Child-sex Traffickers (passed 27 to 11 on 4/28/2025). Makes it a capital felony to subject a child younger than 12 years of age to human trafficking for sexual exploitation.

HB677 State-employee "Fertility Preservation" Coverage (passed 32 to 4 on 4/24/2025). Provides State Group Insurance Program coverage for “standard fertility preservation services.”

SB700 Ban on Fluoride in Public Water (passed 27 to 9 on 4/16/2025). Bans the use of any additive to a public water supply that is not for the explicit purpose of improving water quality.

SB4 Punishing Illegal Aliens (passed 25 to 11 on 2/13/2025). Creates criminal penalties for illegal aliens in Florida who entered the United States by “eluding or avoiding examination or inspection by immigration officers.”

HB49 Freeing Young Adults from "Child Labor Laws" (passed 27 to 11 on 3/8/2024). Removes certain employment restrictions for minors 17 years of age and younger.

HB5003 State Budget (passed 39 to 0 on 3/8/2024). Provides statutory authority to implement the $117.5 billion General Appropriations Act passed by the Legislature for FY 2024-25.

HB1451 Denying ID Cards Issued to Illegal Migrants (passed 28 to 9 on 3/6/2024). Prevents a county or municipality from accepting identification cards or documents issued by any person, entity, or organization to individuals not lawfully present in the United States.

HB1645 Ending the Hoax of "Climate Change" (passed 28 to 12 on 3/6/2024). Removes references to “climate change” in state law, bans wind farms, protects natural gas appliances, and encourages the use of nuclear power technologies.

SB776 Temporary Cash Assistance for "Victim" Drug Felons (passed 35 to 0 on 2/29/2024). Allows an individual with a felony drug trafficking conviction to receive temporary cash and food assistance benefits if they are determined to be a “victim of human trafficking.”

SB1116 Repeal of Taxpayer-Funded Political Campaigns (passed 28 to 12 on 2/28/2024). Eliminates the public financing of candidates for statewide elected office, contingent upon voter approval of an amendment to repeal the requirement in Article VI, Section 7, of the Florida Constitution.

SB450 Two-thirds Jury for Capital Sentences (passed 29 to 10 on 3/30/2023). Amends state law to require a recommendation of at least eight of 12 jurors, instead of a unanimous jury, for the imposition of the death penalty, if a jury has unanimously found a defendant guilty of a capital felony.

HB3 Combating ESG Activism (passed 28 to 12 on 4/19/2023). Bans the financial sector from considering “social credit scores” based on a person’s political or religious beliefs, and blocks state and local governments from using ESG factors in all investment, procurement, and contracting decisions.

SB300 Heartbeat Protection Act (passed 26 to 13 on 4/3/2023). Prohibits abortion after six weeks of gestation, rather than 15 weeks, with exceptions for rape, incest, and human trafficking, subject to certain conditions.

HB543 Permitless Firearm Carry (passed 27 to 13 on 3/30/2023). Authorizes a person to carry a concealed weapon or concealed firearm without a concealed weapon license (CWL).

SB214 Second Amendment Financial Privacy Act (passed 27 to 11 on 3/23/2023). Forbids financial institutions from using an identifying code for purchases from firearm or ammunition retailers.

HB1 Expanding Refundable Tax-Credit "Scholarships" (passed 26 to 12 on 3/23/2023). Expands eligibility for the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship and the Family Empowerment Scholarship for K-12 students, which includes homeschoolers by establishing the Personal Education Program.

HB5003 Budget (passed 33 to 0 on 3/14/2022). Provides the statutory authority necessary to implement and execute the $112.1 billion budget passed by the Florida Legislature for FY 2022-23.

HB1557 Parental Rights in Education (passed 22 to 17 on 3/8/2022). Reinforces the fundamental right of parents to make decisions regarding the upbringing and education of their children.

SB524 Election Security (passed 24 to 14 on 3/4/2022). Creates the Office of Election Crimes and Security within the Florida Department of State to conduct investigations of voting irregularities or violations of election law.

HB5 Abortion Restrictions (passed 23 to 15 on 3/3/2022). Prohibits physicians from providing abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy, except for when an abortion is preformed to save a pregnant woman’s life or avert a serious risk of substantial and permanent “physical impairment of a major bodily function” of a pregnant woman.

SB1808 Immigration Enforcement (passed 24 to 15 on 3/3/2022). Revises the definition of the term “sanctuary policy” to include activities that would prohibit a law enforcement agency from providing certain immigration information to a state entity.

HB1B Prohibiting COVID-19 Mandates (passed 24 to 14 on 11/17/2021). Prohibits governmental entities and educational institutions from imposing COVID-19 vaccination mandates for employees and requires private employers to exempt certain employees from vaccination.

SB362 Taxpayer Financed Ad Campaign (Passed 38 to 0 on 3/9/20). Extends funding for the Visit Florida Marketing Corporation, an expensive advertising project funded at extensive taxpayer expense.

SB664 Expanding Use of E-Verify (Passed 23 to 17 on 3/12/2020). Mandates employers use the E-Verify system to affirm the legal status of new hires.

SB404 Limiting Abortion Access for Minors (Passed 23 to 17 on 2/6/2020). Prohibits physicians from performing abortions on minors without first obtaining the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

HB213 Vaccine Database (Passed 38 to 0 on April 24, 2019). Expands use of a state vaccine database, mandating healthcare workers report vaccination data to an immunization registry.

SB168 Ending Sanctuary Cities (Passed 22 to 18 on 5/2/2019). Ends "sanctuary city" protections and directs Florida law enforcement to work with federal authorities in cases related to illegal migration.

Property Rights as Related to Vegetable Gardens (Passed 35 to 5 on 3/21/2019). Limits the ability of local governments to prohibit vegetable gardens on residential properties.

HB7001 Supermajority Needed for Tax Increase (Passed 25 to 13 on 3/5/2018). Prohibits new taxes and tax increases from being imposed, unless approved by two-thirds of each house of legislature.

SB7026 Firearm Restrictions (Failed to pass 15 to 23 on 3/3/2018). Exploits the tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School to push through a wide-ranging attack on 2nd Amendment rights. 

HB23 Targeting Cash Assistance (Passed 37 to 0 on 5/5/2017). Requires a work plan agreement for temporary cash assistance and brought public assistance policy in line with federal Trump-era reforms. 

SB128 Strengthening Stand Your Ground (Passed 22 to 14 on 5/5/2017). Requires the state to provide "clear and convincing evidence" that a self-defense claim is invalid.  

SB1052 The Right to Self-Defense (Passed 23 to 14 on 5/4/2017). Bolsters "stand your ground"-style protections, authorizing the use of deadly force when one is threatened inside a car or residence. 

SB436 Religious Expression in Schools (Passed 23 to 13 on 3/23/17). Prohibits a school district from discriminating against students and teachers on the basis of religious belief and allows for expression of religious views in schoolwork.
