HB1368 Carbon-storage Regulations (Passed 57 to 40 on 2/27/2026). Establishes state regulations for underground carbon-dioxide storage and allows forced participation by property owners.

HB1424 Food Freedom (Passed 74 to 12 on 2/26/2026). Allows homestead food vendors and small farms to sell specified meat, produce, baked goods, and other foods directly from their property or at farmers markets.

SB27 Northwest Indiana Stadium Authority (Passed 95 to 4 on 2/24/2026). Establishes the Northwest Indiana Stadium Authority to acquire, finance, construct, operate, and maintain a professional sports stadium.

SB284 Law-enforcement Civilian Boards (Passed 70 to 25 on 2/24/2026). Limits the power of civilian boards that oversee law-enforcement agencies.

SB12 Ranked-choice-voting Ban (Passed 58 to 30 on 2/17/2026). Prohibits ranked-choice voting (RCV) in Indiana elections.

HB1217 Stablecoin Regulation (Passed 67 to 23 on 1/20/2026). Would have established a state licensing and regulatory system for companies issuing payment stablecoins.

Specifies that student documents may not be used as "proof of identification" for voting purposes, and that county voter-registration offices must remove disenfranchised criminals and non-citizens from their voter lists within 48 hours.

Would prohibit a government entity from organizing, hosting, or funding an obscene performance.

Requires a sheriff to take a DNA sample of a person who is arrested for, not just charged with or convicted of, a felony.

Establishes certain guidelines for companies to receive a carbon sequestration project permit or a carbon dioxide transmission pipeline certificate of authority from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.

Provides various tax exemptions for the Women's National Basketball Association All-State Game, and related events, when held in Indiana.

Applies to "call a convention" under Article V of the U.S. Constitution for the purpose of proposing an amendment to set term limits on members of Congress.

Restricts the use of a "firearms code" in payment transactions, preventing financial services from declining transactions based on it.

Introduces exemptions to certain work restrictions for minors aged 14 to 15, repeals work restrictions for minors aged 16 to 17, and removes the provision limiting work hours for minors after 10 p.m. and before 6 a.m.

Repeals obsolete energy programs and funds managed by the Indiana Office of Energy Development and replaces them with a low-interest loan program for energy efficiency and recycling projects.

Prohibits any state or state agency from accepting or requiring payment in a central bank digital currency (CBDC).

Defines "core public health services" for purposes of public health laws, provides that the state department may provide services to local health departments, and requires each local board of health to establish a local public health services fund to receive state funding.

Provides for Medicaid-eligible community behavioral health clinic services.

Prohibits a physician or other practitioner from knowingly providing gender transition procedures to an individual who is less than 18 years of age and aiding or abetting another physician or practitioner in the provision of gender transition procedures to a minor.

Prohibits state funding for the Kinsey Institute, a research institute at Indiana University that studies human sexuality and relationships through research, outreach, education, and historical preservation.

Would amend SB0001, which terminates the licensure of abortion clinics, to protect an unborn child's life from the moment of conception.

Allows permitless carry of a handgun for certain persons who are not otherwise prohibited from carrying or possessing a handgun in Indiana.

Would amend HB1001, which prohibits COVID-19 passports and allows employee exemptions from COVID-19 vaccination, by eliminating provisions that permit the use of federal COVID-19 funds for social services and authorization of vaccine administration for children less than 11 years old.

Provides the biennial budget for the State of Indiana, as passed by the General Assembly, which appropriates approximately $92.2 billion for FY 22-23.

Provides that a local order may not be more stringent or broader in aspect than an executive order issued by the state during a declared emergency without the approval of the local legislative body.

Establishes a Justice Reinvestment Advisory Council (JRAC) for each county in Indiana, consisting of leadership within the respective executive and judicial branches of government, whose purpose is to review local or regional criminal justice systems, policies, and procedures.
