House Votes
1. Stablecoin Regulation
HB1217 Stablecoin Regulation (Passed 67 to 23 on 1/20/2026). Would have established a state licensing and regulatory system for companies issuing payment stablecoins.
2. Ranked-choice-voting Ban
SB12 Ranked-choice-voting Ban (Passed 58 to 30 on 2/17/2026). Prohibits ranked-choice voting (RCV) in Indiana elections.
3. Northwest Indiana Stadium Authority
SB27 Northwest Indiana Stadium Authority (Passed 95 to 4 on 2/24/2026). Establishes the Northwest Indiana Stadium Authority to acquire, finance, construct, operate, and maintain a professional sports stadium.
4. Law-enforcement Civilian Boards
SB284 Law-enforcement Civilian Boards (Passed 70 to 25 on 2/24/2026). Limits the power of civilian boards that oversee law-enforcement agencies.
5. Food Freedom
HB1424 Food Freedom (Passed 74 to 12 on 2/26/2026). Allows homestead food vendors and small farms to sell specified meat, produce, baked goods, and other foods directly from their property or at farmers markets.
6. Carbon-storage Regulations
HB1368 Carbon-storage Regulations (Passed 57 to 40 on 2/27/2026). Establishes state regulations for underground carbon-dioxide storage and allows forced participation by property owners.
