SB2240 requires the Hawaii Office of Elections to apply for membership with the Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC).
The Hawaii State House of Representatives passed SB2240 on May 1, 2024 by a vote of 42 to 9. We have assigned pluses to the nays because ERIC is a George Soros-funded program that states have no business being involved in. ERIC collects private election data handed over by the states, and does not transparently manage that data. Instead of cleaning up the voter rolls, they inflate voter rolls significantly via private voter data.
