SB572 Biosecurity Emergency Powers (Passed 58 to 3 on 5/1/2024). Allows the state Department of Agriculture, with the governor's approval, to declare a "biosecurity emergency" in response to outbreaks of invasive pests or organisms that threaten the state's economy or environment.

SB2845 Ammunition Age Restriction (Passed 45 to 6 on 5/1/2024). Prohibits individuals from selling ammunition to a person under the age of 21. Additionally, it prohibits individuals under the age of 21vfrom owning, possessing, or controlling ammunition.

SB2753 State and Federal Code Alignment (Passed 49 to 2 on 5/1/2024). Aligns Hawaii's building codes with federal EPA regulations by allowing substitute refrigerants, supporting climate goals and easing compliance with the phasedown of HFCs under the American Innovation and Manufacturing Act of 2020.

HB2231 Woke Law Enforcement (Passed 45 to 3 on 4/17/2024). Sets a statewide goal for each law-enforcement agency to increase the employment of female officers to 30% by 2030, and mandates that agencies actively recruit from diverse backgrounds, including schools of social work, to enhance diversity within the force.

HB1989 Raw Milk (Passed 39 to 10 on 3/5/2024). Legalizes the direct sale of raw milk and raw-milk products from producers to consumers for human consumption, under specific conditions. It also allowed raw goat milk sales for pet use.

SB865 State Housing (Passed 42 to 7 on 5/4/2023). Establishes the Ninety-Nine Year Leasehold Program to develop low-cost residential condominium units on state-owned and county-owned land.

SB1024 Zero Emissions (Passed 50 to 0 on 5/2/2023). Establishes long-term goals for zero-emissions transportation in Hawaii and abroad to reduce and eliminate transportation emissions.

HB192 Light Bulbs (Passed 48 to 3 on 5/2/2023). Prohibits the sale of certain fluorescent lamps as a new manufactured product.

SB109 Woke Terminology (Passed 45 to 6 on 5/2/2023). Replaces gender-specific terminology used in certain parental and marital matters with "gender-neutral" terminology.

HB426 Anti-Firearm Industry (Passed 42 to 9 on 3/2/2023). Establishes conduct standards for the firearm industry and allows individuals and officials to sue for violations.

SCR243 Paris Agreement and Agenda 2030 (Passed 25 to 0 on 4/18/2022). Endorses the UN Climate Paris Agreement and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

HB1366 Hobbyist Firearm Ban (Passed 42 to 8 on 4/13/2021). Bans numerous unfinished firearm components and home-built hobbyist firearms.

SB294 Limiting Asset Forfeiture Abuse (Passed 48 to 2 on 4/8/2021). Limits the controversial tactic of civil asset forfeiture, in other words the tactic of taking property from individuals before a conviction.

Permitting Nurses to Perform Abortions (Passed 42 to 9 on 3/9/2021). Lowers criteria for allowing nurses to perform abortions.

HB103 Ending the Covid-19 Emergency (Passed 50 to 0 3/5/2021). Limits executive emergency powers utilized during the Covid-19 emergency with a legislative check.

HB111 Banning Fossil Fuels (Passed 45 to 5 on 3/4/2021). Bans utility companies from utilizing fossil fuels for energy production by the year 2045.
