SB2412 strengthens enforcement of Tennessee's Abortion-Inducing Drug Risk Protocol Act. It allows the state attorney general to bring civil actions against those who knowingly provide abortion-inducing drugs through mail, courier, or delivery services in violation of state law. Violations can result in a $10,000 civil penalty, increasing to $1 million if the violation causes serious bodily injury or death.

The Tennessee State House of Representatives passed SB2412 on April 16, 2026 by a vote of 74 to 20. We have assigned pluses to the ayes because states should act to ban abortion and guarantee the right to life for all persons. The right to life is the most fundamental, God-given, and unalienable right asserted in the Declaration of Independence and protected by the Fifth and 14th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution.
