It uses a tiered "traffic-light" system: blue (“exercise normal caution”), yellow (“exercise increased caution”), and red (“reconsider travel”). The advisory must be posted prominently on the Department's website and updated promptly whenever other states change their abortion laws.

The New Jersey State Assembly passed S3663 on June 30, 2025 by a vote of 54 to 25. We have assigned pluses to the nays because government has no business advising where citizens may travel to end the lives of preborn children. Instead of protecting life—the greatest responsibility of government—this measure seeks to normalize and facilitate its destruction under the guise of “reproductive healthcare.” By establishing a state-sponsored abortion travel guide, New Jersey is advancing population-control policies straight from the leftist and globalist playbook.
