HB8 Parents' Bill of Rights (passed 24 to 7 on 12/18/2024). Enacts the “Parents’ Bill of Rights,” requiring public schools to ensure parental involvement and notification about sexuality content and health care services and adopt a policy authorizing students to attend a released time course in religious instruction.

SB58 Second Amendment Financial Privacy Act (passed 25 to 6 on 12/18/2024). Forbids financial institutions from using a merchant category code to identify firearms retailers and prevents government entities from keeping any list of privately owned firearms or firearms owners.

SB54 Sports Event Grant Fund (passed 29 to 1 on 12/18/2024). Makes various appropriations, reappropriations, transfers, and redirects of funds for FY 2025-26, while expanding eligibility for sport site selection grants.

HB1 Ban on Non-Citizen Campaign Contributions (passed 24 to 7 on 5/31/2024). Bans all foreign nationals, including permanent U.S. resident “green card” holders, from making contributions or expenditures regarding ballot issues or candidates.

SR296 Halting the EPA's "Final Rule" on Carbon Emissions (adopted 27 to 4 on 5/8/2024). Urges Congress to prevent the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency from implementing its April 2024 “Final Rule” limiting carbon emissions for coal and natural gas-fired power plants.

HB161 "Marital Rape" as a Criminal Offense (passed 32 to 0 on 4/24/2024). Eliminates the spousal exception for rape as a criminal sex offense, allowing a person to be convicted of rape involving their spouse, regardless of whether their spouse lives with them.

HB68 Ban on Sex Mutilation of Children (passed 24 to 8 on 12/13/2023). Would protect minor children from “gender reassignment” surgeries and “cross-sex hormone or puberty-blocking” drugs.

SB75 Tax-Funded Joint Economic Development Districts (passed 29 to 1 on 10/11/2023). Would create Joint Economic Development Districts (JEDD) comprised of multiple local governments with the power to extend and levy an income tax to promote “economic development or redevelopment,” “create or preserve jobs,” and “improve the economic welfare.”

SR215 Opposing a 'Right to Abortion' in the Ohio Constitution (adopted 23 to 7 on 10/11/2023). Urged citizens to vote against a statewide ballot initiative that proposed amending the Ohio Constitution by establishing an individual ‘right to abortion.’

SJR2 Supermajority Vote for State Constitutional Amendments (adopted 26 to 7 on 5/10/2023). Proposed an amendment to the Ohio Constitution that would have required any future constitutional amendment to be approved by at least 60% of the voters.

SB58 Prohibiting Firearms Liability Insurance Mandates (passed 24 to 7 on 4/26/2023). Would prohibit firearm liability insurance requirements or fees in the State of Ohio.

SB54 New African Immigrants Grant and Gift Fund (passed 31 to 0 on 3/29/2023). Would form the New African Immigrants Grant and Gift Fund in the state treasury.

SB9 Regulation Reduction (Passed 61 to 33 on 3/2/2022). Reduces regulation restrictions by 30% and eliminates bureaucratic red tape.  Prohibits adding a new rule or regulation without also removing two.

HB325 Gun Rights (Passed 64 to 35 on 2/16/2022). Prohibits state and local governments from infringing the right to bear arms and the 2ndAmendment of the U.S. Constitution during declared emergencies.

SB157 Abortion Survival (Passed 61 to 35 on 12/8/2021). Ensures that babies who are born-alive after a failed abortion receive the same medical care as other babies, regardless of the circumstances of their birth.

HB218 Vaccine Mandates (Passed 58 to 32 on 11/18/2021).  Covers vaccine injuries under workers compensation and bans public entities and private businesses from imposing vaccine mandates.

HB227 Constitutional Carry (Passed 60 to 32 on 11/17/2021).  Removes the requirement that you must possess a permit when carrying a concealable weapon or firearm.

SB22 Health Order Oversight (Passed 57 to 38 on 3/10/2021).  Gives power to the legislature to rescind health orders issued by the governor or the Ohio Department of Health.
