SB75 Tax-Funded Joint Economic Development Districts (failed 40 to 55 on 12/18/2024). Would create Joint Economic Development Districts (JEDD) comprised of multiple local governments with the power to extend and levy an income tax.

SB58 Second Amendment Financial Privacy Act (passed 63 to 27 on 12/11/2024). Forbids financial institutions from using a merchant category code to identify firearms retailers and prevents government entities from keeping any list of privately owned firearms or firearms owners.

SB104 Single-Sex Restrooms in Schools (passed 60 to 31 on 6/26/2024). Requires that public schools and institutions of higher education shall not permit a person to use a restroom, locker room, changing room, or shower room that is designated for the opposite sex.

HR469 Halting the EPA's "Final Rule" on Carbon Emissions (adopted 69 to 28 on 6/26/2024). Urges Congress to prevent the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency from implementing its April 2024 “Final Rule” limiting carbon emissions for coal and natural gas-fired power plants.

HB1 Ban on Non-Citizen Campaign Contributions (passed 64 to 31 on 5/30/2024). Bans all foreign nationals, including permanent U.S. resident “green card” holders, from making contributions or expenditures regarding ballot issues or candidates.

HB258 Increased Penalties for the "Tobacco 21" Prohibition (passed 83 to 8 on 1/10/2024). Increases the fines imposed, in addition to any jail term or other sanctions, for repeated violations of the federal prohibition against selling tobacco products to persons under the age of 21.

HB68 Ban on Sex Mutilation of Children (passed 62 to 27 on 12/13/2023). Would protect minor children from “gender reassignment” surgeries and “cross-sex hormone or puberty-blocking” drugs.

HB272 Concealed Carry in Multiuse Courtroom Buildings (passed 57 to 29 on 12/6/2023). Would permit a concealed handgun licensee to carry a handgun in a building that is not a courthouse but in which a courtroom is located.

HB161 "Marital Rape" as a Criminal Offense (passed 75 to 1 on 11/29/2023). Would eliminate the spousal exception for rape as a criminal sex offense, allowing a person to be convicted of rape involving their spouse, regardless of whether their spouse lives with them.

HB8 Parents' Bill of Rights (passed 65 to 29 on 6/21/2023). Would require public schools to adopt a parental notification policy on matters related to student health and well-being, including instructional materials with sexuality content.

HB73 Patient and Health Provider Protection Act (passed 75 to 17 on 6/21/2023). Would authorize physicians to prescribe off-label medications, prevent state and local agencies from enforcing certain related federal rules or orders, and prohibit the denial of nutrition or fluids to a patient.

SJR2 Supermajority Vote for State Constitutional Amendments (adopted 62 to 37 on 5/10/2023). Proposed an amendment to the Ohio Constitution that would have required any future constitutional amendment to be approved by at least 60% of the voters.

SB9 Regulation Reduction (Passed 61 to 33 on 3/2/2022). Reduces regulation restrictions by 30% and eliminates bureaucratic red tape.  Prohibits adding a new rule or regulation without also removing two.

HB325 Gun Rights (Passed 64 to 35 on 2/16/2022). Prohibits state and local governments from infringing the right to bear arms and the 2ndAmendment of the U.S. Constitution during declared emergencies.

SB157 Abortion Survival (Passed 61 to 35 on 12/8/2021). Ensures that babies who are born-alive after a failed abortion receive the same medical care as other babies, regardless of the circumstances of their birth.

HB218 Vaccine Mandates (Passed 58 to 32 on 11/18/2021).  Covers vaccine injuries under workers compensation and bans public entities and private businesses from imposing vaccine mandates.

HB227 Constitutional Carry (Passed 60 to 32 on 11/17/2021).  Removes the requirement that you must possess a permit when carrying a concealable weapon or firearm.

SB22 Health Order Oversight (Passed 57 to 38 on 3/10/2021).  Gives power to the legislature to rescind health orders issued by the governor or the Ohio Department of Health.
