HB1084 Gender-neutral Language in Statute (Passed 32 to 2 on 3/3/2025). Replaced gender-specific language with gender-neutral language throughout Title 35 of the Colorado Revised Statutes.

HB1133 Ammo Sales Restrictions (Passed 19 to 16 on 3/25/2025). Tightens rules on ammunition sales in the state.

HB1005 Film Tax Credit (Passed 28 to 5 on 3/28/2025).Creates a new refundable state-tax credit program to support the film-festival industry.

HB1312 Transgender Protection (Passed 20 to 14 on 5/6/2025). Expands legal protections for transgender individuals in Colorado.

SB91 Department of Education Funding (Passed 55 to 10 on 2/13/2025). A supplemental appropriations bill that provided additional funding adjustments for the Colorado Department of Education for the 2024-25 fiscal year.

HB1312 Transgender Protection (Passed 40 to 24 on 5/6/2025). Expands legal protections for transgender individuals in Colorado.

SB230 Oil & Gas Production Fees (Passed 21 to 12 on 5/4/2024). Establishes new fees on oil and gas production in Colorado.

HB1346 Carbon Management (Passed 24 to 11 on 4/30/2024). Grants the Energy and Carbon Management Commission (ECMC) authority to seek federal approval for Class VI injection wells for underground carbon storage.

HB1259 Rental Price Gouging (Passed 43 to 17 on 4/19/2024). Makes price gouging of rent-based housing during disaster periods in designated areas an "unfair and unconscionable act."

HB1390 School Food Programs (Passed 33 to 1 on 4/16/2024). Delays some parts of the Healthy School Meals for All program until FY 2025-26, extends certain reimbursements for a year, and creates a new cash fund for the program to help reduce costs and maximize federal funding.

SB5 Government Overreach in Landscaping (Passed 27 to 5 on 3/1/2024). Mandates that local governments and state Department of Personnel cannot install (and must ban others from installing) nonfunctional turf, artificial turf, or invasive plants in new developments or redevelopments.

SB66 Firearms Merchant Code Infringement (Passed 22 to 11 on 2/21/2024). Mandates that payment card networks must offer a merchant category code for firearms and payment processors must assign this code to firearms merchants.

HB1280 Illegal Migrant Grant (Passed 41 to 20 on 5/8/2024). Creates the Statewide Welcome, Reception, and Integration Grant Program to provide grants to "community-based" organizations that assist illegal migrants with accessing state services.

SB53 Racial Equity Commission (Passed 45 to 19 on 5/3/2024). Creates the 14-member "Black Coloradan Racial Equity Commission" to study the "historical" and "ongoing effects" of slavery and "systemic racism" on black Coloradans.

SB188 Education Funding Increase (Passed 61 to 1 on 4/25/2024). Increases Colorado's public-school funding for FY 2024-25, raising base per pupil funding by $419.97 to $8,496.38, with total program funding set at $9.7 billion.

SB137 Potato Seeds (Passed 60 to 1 on 4/14/2024). Updates the Colorado Potato Seed Act by requiring potato growers to have uncertified seed tested by the Department of Agriculture (CDA) before planting.

SB68 Assisted Suicide (Passed 41 to 20 on 4/9/2024). Modifies Colorado’s assisted-suicide law by allowing advanced-practice nurses to prescribe life-ending medication and reducing the waiting period between oral requests from 15 days to 7 days.

SB73 Forced Health Insurance Changes (Passed 56 to 6 on 4/4/2024). Shrinks the small-group health plan market by lowering the employer size limit from 100 to 50 employees, forcing many businesses into the costlier large-group market.

HB23-1278 Virtual "Marriage or Civil Union" Licensing (passed 25 to 8 on 5/2/2023). Lets a county clerk and recorder issue a “marriage” or “civil union” license without the applicants appearing in person.

SB23-629 Taxpayer-Funded Preschool "Bonus Payments" (passed 28 to 3 on 4/19/2023). Creates “bonus payments” to incentivize participation in the Colorado universal preschool provider program.

SB23-254 Limiting “No-Knock” Warrants (passed 27 to 7 on 4/17/2023). Limits the issuance of a “no-knock search warrant” to a situation in which there is either probable cause for an arrest of a suspect or because of a “credible threat to the life of any person.”

HB23-1143 Illegal Aliens as Law Enforcement Officers (passed 31 to 4 on 4/10/2023). Permits recipients of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program to become law enforcement officers.

SB23-189 State-Sponsored Abortion and Sex Mutilation (passed 22 to 13 on 4/4/2023). Requires certain health benefit plans to cover “abortion care” and “sterilization services,” while allowing “contraceptive procedures, supplies, or information” to be offered to minors without parental notification or consent.

HJR23-1018 Equal Pay Day (passed 23 to 11 on 3/15/2023). Designates March 14, 2023, as “Equal Pay Day,” due to “the persistent problem of wage disparity” among “women, trans women, gender-expansive people, and women of color.”

HB23-1026 Grandparent "Family Time" in Child Custody Cases (passed 51 to 13 on 4/26/2023). Provides that a grandparent may overcome the presumption that any parental determination regarding “family time” is in the “best interests of the child” during a custody case, allowing a court to appoint a child’s legal representative.
