The following scorecard lists several key votes in the Oklahoma State Legislature in 2026 and ranks state representatives and senators based on their fidelity to (U.S.) constitutional and limited-government principles.

Senate Votes
1. Early-voting Expansion
SB1362 Early-voting Expansion (Passed 36 to 9 on 3/10/2026). Would expand in-person absentee voting by allowing it on the Thursday, Friday, and Saturday before any election.
2. Banning Government-funded Sex Changes
SB904 Banning Government-funded Sex Changes (Passed 39 to 8 on 3/25/2026). Prohibits state funds, Medicaid coverage, and state-owned facilities from being used to provide gender-transition surgeries for minors or adults.
3. Taxpayer-funded “Trump Accounts”
HB4071 Taxpayer-funded "Trump Accounts" (Passed 25 to 19 on 4/16/2026). Creates a program that provides a $250 state contribution to a federally authorized Trump Accounts.
4. Film Tax Credits
HB4036 Film Tax Credits (Passed 30 to 15 on 4/16/2026). Appropriates $5 million to fund a pilot program intended to attract sitcom productions from Hollywood to Oklahoma.
5. Parental Rights
HB3586 Parental Rights (Passed 39 to 7 on 4/29/2026). Prohibits adoption discrimination against prospective parents who oppose gender transitions for children.
6. Government-funded Television
SB1461 Government-funded Television (Failed Veto Override 27 to 18 on 5/14/2026). Would have continued the Oklahoma Educational Television Authority until July 1, 2031.
