SB474 Eliminate DEI (passed 31 to 2 on 4/13/2025). Eliminates diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs, trainings, activities, offices, and officers from primary and secondary schools and institutions of higher education.

SB225 Federal Law-enforcement Authority (passed 33 to 0 on 4/11/2025). Amends West Virginia law to authorize commissioned rangers of the National Park Service to enforce state laws, allowing independent investigation, arrest, search, and seizure for any offense under state law in the National Park System.

SB627 Carbon Capture in State Parks (passed 26 to 5 on 4/9/2025). Removes the prohibition against leasing state-owned lands designated as state parks for underground carbon capture and sequestration.

HB2129 Parents' Bill of Rights (passed 32 to 1 on 3/24/2025). Enacts the “Parents’ Bill of Rights,” which affirms the fundamental right of parents to direct the upbringing, education, care, healthcare, and mental health of their minor children; and provides for injunctive relief against violations.

SB490 Ranked-choice Voting (passed 31 to 2 on 3/4/2025). Prohibits the use of ranked-choice voting methods by state, county, or local elections offices to conduct elections or nominations of candidates for local government, statewide, or federal elective offices in West Virginia.

SB460 Child Vaccine Exemption (passed 20 to 12 on 2/23/2025). Expands exemptions to West Virginia’s compulsory childhood vaccination requirements by permitting religious and philosophical exemptions, and prohibiting schools or childcare centers from excluding exempted children from extracurricular activities or events.
