SB1362 Anti-Red Flag Act (passed 20 to 11 on 5/30/2025). Prevents governmental entities in Texas from enforcing “extreme risk protective orders.”

HB1056 Constitutional Money (passed 18 to 12 on 5/28/2025). Creates a transactional currency backed by “gold and silver,” and recognizes it as “legal tender.”

SB33 Ban on State-sponsored Abortion Travel (passed 22 to 9 on 5/26/2025). Bans the use of public funds for abortion-related travel.

HB2 Funding Government Schools (passed 31 to 0 on 5/23/2025). Authorizes $8.5 billion in new funding to public schools, including for teacher and staff pay raises, early-childhood programs, and bilingual education.

HJR98 Article V Convention (adopted 17 to 14 on 5/8/2025). Applies to Congress to “call a convention under Article V of the United States Constitution.”

SB18 Defunding "Drag Queen Story Hour" (passed 20 to 11 on 3/19/2025). Would have defunded municipal libraries that host “Drag Queen Story Hour” events.

SB1070 ERIC Withdrawal (Passed 18 to 12 on 5/26/2023). Withdraws Texas from Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC).

HB1243 Illegal Voting Penalty (Passed 19 to 11 on 5/24/2023). Would increase the criminal penalty for illegal voting from a Class A misdemeanor to either a state jail felony for attempted illegal voting or second-degree felony for illegal voting.

HB1058 Subsidized Housing (Passed 26 to 5 on 5/22/2023). Enacts an insurance premium tax credit for certain housing developments.

HB4363 Future Texas Teacher Scholarship (Passed 25 to 6 on 5/21/2023). Establishes the Future Texas Teachers Scholarship Program for certain students at public institutions of higher education.

SB990 Countywide Polling Place Program (Passed 17 to 12 on 4/20/2023). Eliminates of the countywide polling place program.

SB17 DEI Ban (Passed 19 to 12 on 4/19/2023). Bans diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives at colleges and public institutions of higher education.

SJR52 Con-Con Extension (Passed 19 to 12 on 3/21/2023). Extends the deadline for the automatic rescission of certain applications made by the Texas Legislature to the United States Congress to call a national convention under Article V of the United States Constitution

SB535 2nd Amendment in Churches (Passed 25 to 6 on 5/1/2019). Would allow the Second Amendment to be used in Churches and places of worship. People would be able to carry and protect their congregation with approval from their Church leadership.

HB1631 Banning Traffic Cameras (Passed 26 to 5 on 5/17/2019). Would ensure that your privacy on the road is better protected, and makes sure that traffic enforcement will be done by officers.

HB170 Healthcare Overreach (Passed 26 to 5 on 5/22/2019). Would add additional healthcare coverage and cost by adding mammography to certain health plans.

SB1834 SNAP Produce Purchases (Passed 26 to 4 on 4/25/2019). Would create an incentive encouraging people on the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) to purchase fruits and vegetables grown in the state of Texas.

SB462 Clear Language on Taxes (Passed 19 to 12 on 4/16/2019).  Would ensure that ballot propositions must be written with clear language describing the tax increases that would come with them.

SB17 Prohibiting Religious Discrimination (Passed 19 to 12 on 4/3/2019). SB17 ensures that employers cannot discriminate based on religious beliefs. This bill would also ensure employees cannot be fired for statements they make about their own beliefs.
