2024 AR Legislative Scorecard

The following scorecard lists several key votes in the Arkansas General Assembly in 2024 and ranks state representatives and senators based on their fidelity to (U.S.) constitutional and limited-government principles.

Requires that an obstetric ultrasound, along with a simultaneous verbal explanation and medical description of the "unborn child" it depicts, be performed on and displayed to a pregnant woman prior to an abortion.

Provides annual state funding for qualifying educational expenses on behalf of "any resident" who is "eligible to enroll in a public elementary or secondary school."

5. Freeing Youth from “Child Labor Laws”

Eliminates the requirement that minors who are under 16 years of age have to obtain a state-issued work permit prior to employment.
